If only I didn't have such short term memory! It seems that when I get a very cool effect, I keep wanting to experiment some more. And then I forget what the devil I was doing. On this unfinished work, I found a way to make the canvas change on just a little part of the canvas. I was in the adjust and have no idea what I was using. I went to change the color since I accidently changed it to black and white and forgot how I changed just a little part of it. Does anybody know what I was doing? Thanks.

looks to me like you my have used the Fractured Light preset
I looked for the Fractured Light preset and couldn't find it. Where's it supposed to be?
Here is it.
Fractured Light.zip
Thank you very much, John.
Fractured light is in the Paint 2 > Auto Paint Presets . If you are on a Mac you can find it with Spotlight.
Thanks, David. It's nowhere to be found in my Windows version. :-/ I'll mention this in the tutorials group.
If you want an effect to just change a little part of the canvas, you can use masking. You make a selection, and then mask the effect with the selection. Here's a tip on selection and masking.
Thank you very much for the tip, John. It was with the editor that I changed the way canvas looks and I'm going to keep trying to figure out how to do that again. I love this program!!!!!!!!!
