How was this photo treated? It looks like you did something with textured brush strokes to capture just the right "furriness."

This one is entirely image processing. I think it was alternate applications of Smart Blur, Smooth & Rank Area. Probably with some Adjust mixed in too. Often I will use less than 100% mix with displacement or blur image operations... this seems to make for a more natural/richer/fluid effect.
