There were a few different stages to make this final image. I started off by making a database of 100 pickover chaotic attractor images using the PickoverChaosGen msg processor. I then converted that folder of individual images into a movie file. Then i used that movie as a movie brush with an adaptive block regionize path start generator in the paint synthesizer to build a photo mosaic. I then set the selection to the source image and used a small amount of selection modulate rotate interactive warp to melt the blockiness a little to make a more organic final image.
