  • !Yes,Victor! This is a superb sketch effect and wonderful penwork. It's a pleasure both in it's contrasts and perspective. I particularly like the restrained spectrum.
  • Victor is this hand sketched? or have you found/created a magical PAS?
  • not a paseq. i used smooth and blur to clean up the original; image then used Sketch (image op in sa4 beta). a bit of Value/Sat adjust too. i think one of my blurs used one of the non-"replace" composite settings (darken differential i think?... maybe "min") which flipped the over tones to it's dark-glow look. Last but most importantly, the composition of the original photo (not my own I'm sad to say) and the story contained therein is key to the strength of the image.
  • This really works well. I Like the line work.
  • Victor: I am very jealous that you have SA4(beta). But this is great. That ImOp plus the PaSeq I have been working on should get me very close the line and watercolor look I have been aiming for.
  • The still image is always a relatively simple task... the challenge with any video/paseq is in creating/using clean video to minimize noise... and developing strategies in your paseq to steady the paths, reduce flicker and simplify your image ops and effects. as far as having sa4beta goes... it is fun now... after over 100 versions. i can't speak for John Dalton, but believe me he is working hard to de/refine the manymany new SA/MSG tools and the resulting massive code I'm sure he wrangling. as beta testers we are doing our best absorb the shocks on your behalf (it's a tough job but somebody has to do it!). i do not know John's timeline for release... but I'd have to guess that things are getting sweeter with each passing week.
