I'm working with the Current Search and Mutate Current Search techniques in Gallery Show. I searched 'source' in the name and category text of the factory MSG presets, so gallery show is working off of the set of MSG presets that were returned from that search.
So this is how you can incorporate textural specifications of the artistic content of your gallery show work. If you are willing to spend the time building up a good set of text tags for presets (and source and style image collections) you can customize and build out this feature to make it extremely useful.
I'm using the Threshold generative auto-selection option in Gallery Show.
