SA4 First AttemptI've been dabbling with brushes/filters/PSactions since Paint Alchemy in the mid 90s --- and am blown away by SA4's power and ease-of-use.This first attempt used the auto-paint impressionist preset for the brush strokes and a couple of the sketch presets to add definition. The biggest challenge was finding the right brush sizes. My originals are 5600 x 4200 pixels -- so even the largest SA4 brush setting were too small.I found the answer was to reduce my canvas size by half, then use Genuine Fractals at the end to re-enlarge the image. The only problem, well more like an annoyance, I'm having is that I find the auto-paint function at this large scale shuts down much too quickly. I find myself having to hit the activate icon 20 or 30 times.I'm sure there's a setting someplace in the edit panes that would allow me to extend the time/brush-stroke count -- but so far I haven't been able to find it.

If you increase the Max Stroke setting in the Path Start control panel, that will increase the number of paint strokes drawn by the auto-paint process.

Thank you John -- heading for the Path Start panel right now.
I did fashion a work around of sorts by recording a PASeq with many Activate hits. It also recorded all my brush size edits--which is fantastic!
This is so much fun I might just have to skip the SuperBowl parties!
