Thanks...I have applled to Adobe for a grant with that in mind... They have a Creative Residency Program offering $500 to $5000 if accepted. When I have enough courage I also want to see figure out how to animate these with transitions between the different images. It could be very exciting. Any suggestions, tips you may have will be greatly appreciated.
I am excited that I have opened a new approach to using Studio Artist for me. The Vector possibilities are not so predictable but I am seeing what happens when I export SVGs as standard Geometric shapes. THe piece I just posted. "Thee New Stoplight ", is an outcome of those experiments. Also I saw online one could create vector art from tiff drawinga using Inkscape. That would open up a whole new world from me because I have many books I have collected through the years with public domain line art. I like combining Retro with the Modern.
I have just barely scratched the surface regarding my understanding of how to use Studio Artist for my creative ideas. It continues to me hit or miss, but as long as I am having fun that's ok.
I also figured out a way to catalog my Favorite Presets by labeling them into simple categories like Watercolors, Vectors, Papers, Text, etc. That is helping expedite the process. By using gallery show I can also see a large number of presets with outcomes quickly and save the ones I like. One simple suggestion for identification purposes. The name of the Favorite category being used visibly listed on the program heading would help.
I still have to answer the previous message you sent me... I have been so involved with the art that I have been amiss. Sorry.
You could use the Vectorizer to also create vector output from tiff images. You turn off all of the effects and just focus on the raster to vector conversion part of what it can o.

I'll try to put together some info on some animation approaches. There are a lot of different interesting ways you could try to do it.
