  • It reminds me (diagonal lines region) one of your msg preset called Past2

  • this works for me on so many levels I'm still trying to absorb all of it.

  • What you see was built up over the course of a few gallery show processing cycles. I was using random source indexing, so the source image randomly changed every gallery show cycle. And i was using 'surprise me' auto-masking. So the gallery show processing was auto-masked based on characteristics of the source image every processing cycle.

I forget if i was using a second folder of favorite presets for start cycle processing. I oftentimes do this during my gallery show runs, and that adds to the complexity of the effects that build up over multiple gallery show cycles.

  • "I was using random source indexing, so the source image randomly changed every gallery show cycle"

Does that mean that the generated pictures of the gallery show were in the source folder ? Or is that a new function that you choose in the preference settings of the GS ?

  • No wonder the resulting image is so 'deep.' I don't know if random source indexing, auto masking, start cycle processing is documented somewhere, either way I'll be learning a lot and I'm sure, asking lots of questions. It will be fun for me!

  • Folder (random) is the Source Option i was using. What that does is choose a random image from the current source folder for each gallery show cycle. The source folder was a folder containing a set of images i thought might work well as source images for studio artist.

The output of the gallery show run is not being written into the source folder if that is what you are asking Bernard.

Mark, here is a tip that describes creating a random vectorizer gallery show. This covers some of the gallery show features being discussed here.

Here's a link to some posts on the studio artist effects blog that use gallery show features.

  • OK John, yes, that was what I mean.

    Thanks.
