If you are up for describing how you approach building the color palette for this kind of thing, i think a lot of people would be interested. Certainly true for me.
these are older ones from 2016 done for "thierry pécou - orchestre national de france". think i've used 3-4 custom-made "foreground"- and "background-brushs", that "reflect" the source-images, so the coloring comes from there. i changed the sources and the brush-tools several times in that fast formation process. I always run adjustments in "finalize-Paseqs" (whiteshift, sharpen, etc.) to finish artworks. here is one another castaway draft of this session:
