At your suggestion I moved mine from where I had previously put them, but on another note I couldn't help noticing in your screen shot how you have organized the MSG files. It is more streamlined than what I have and I am wondering if I don't have mine properly organized. Whereas you have only 3 main folders under MSG, I have 14. Perhaps I should create a database folder similar to your MSG Database and dump everything except OPEN EVO... into it and also include what is now under my Default folder as well.???
Regarding the 'streamlining' you mention. The 4.04 MSG collections and categories were setup to hide most of the MSG presets from people using the trial so they would not get confused with large numbers of MSG presets. But we wanted to still have them there because other features in studio artist, like the Evolution Editor Inspire functionality uses them, and really depend on having access to large numbers of pre-built factory MSG presets to work properly.
However, there's actually an issue with the way the 4.04 preset MSG collections and categories are organized. The Evolution Editor inspire functionality works off of factory MSG presets, and can currently can't read nested category folders. So most of the 4.04 MSG presets are ignored when running Inspire because of this issue. So the 'streamlining' we added to hide complexity from trial users actually created a problem, and also makes individual MSG presets much harder to track down when using the Preset Browser in my opinion.
So, i would not suggest putting category folders nested inside of category folders like you saw in the 4.04 MSG preset organization. Or if you do reduce the number of collections, make sure you don't drop category folders inside of other category folders.

I just discovered this page by accident and noticed that the new Presets are different from my collection. Is this a recent addition? I am installing the new set as per the video instructions.
The texture presets aren't in those 4.04 presets they were just updated in the last week or so and are not in the 4.04 set. They will be in the 4.05 set. So if you want these textures you will need to download them separately and put them in your msg folder.

I actually just updated the texture presets again you can get them here CanvasPaperLinenTextures.zip and put them in your msg folder.
