I extended my last bezier sketch animation post by incorporating a second set of interpolating bezier keyframes that define colored regions that morph behind the morphing black edge sketch. So the PASeq used for the animation is using 2 different Bezier Context action steps to encapsulate 2 different sets of interpolating bezier paths, each of which is painted in with a different paint preset.

  • Here's a link to the complete animation. Again, i find myself drawn more to the still frame images located between different keyframe positions as being the most visually interesting ones for static image output. So the resulting sketch is of a virtual face that is a morph between 2 different original source images used to build the animation.

    Again, this is an example of how you can use animation features even if you are strictly a 2D artist interested in static image art only.
  • I am curious to know what result this process would have on a movie vs a stack of images. Could you please post a quick render of one of your surf clips or even the dancer..
