Might be fun to try modulating the interior coloring of the ribbon pieces so they act like a mosaic to build some other image. I like the notion of image mosaics being built out of vector internal pieces (instead of being built off of small raster images in the normal image folder brush, movie brush approach we've been pushing for years).
I like that idea...its unique and very creative..Thanks...It seems labor intensive and I am level zero with my. knowledge of animation in SA. I will start getting up to speed. An "animation course" for beginners in SA would be helpful.
Now thats a good selfie, I like the transparency of the color graduations, interestingly Ive been looking at this piece for about 30 minutes, it flows...
If you want to attach an example preset with what you are using in the paint synth for the ribbon style, i can try to edit 2 different variations of it for you to play with. One will do the mosaic within the ribbon segments idea i talked about above.
The other will do something similar, except that the ribbons will act as the dynamic halftone screen to render a BW or color image embedded in the overall structure of the ribbon as it draws across the page.
