  • It's interesting to watch you develop this series over time.
  • It's still coming. Each image is a lesson in possibilities. I have been playing with the MSG Evolver without having read the manual. If I ever really learn what's going on it might ruin my creativity or I might get lost in a SA Bermuda Triangle. Are there any Studio Artist users who got lost in the program and have never been found?
  • MSG Evolver is an experiment in a dual left-brain right-brain approach to editing presets and their associated visual effects. The right-brain approach being the directed evolution of MSG presets. The left-brain approach being the detailed editing in the processor chain editor. So the goal is that people can select and evolve new presets without having any real understanding of what is going on under the hood. Since understanding what is going on under the hood does require some technical knowledge.

There is somewhat of an art to evolving MSG presets. I'd like to make it easier to do in the future. While hopefully giving people more control. Although the great thing about directed evolution of MSG presets is that you can create things you'd never be able to program in a left-brain way
