It's hard for me not to slip new features into point releases, so i added some baby steps for source 'data augmentation' into V5.5.1 gallery show. Data augmentation is something you do in neural net training to your training data. So why not do it to your source images feeding into gallery show generative processes. Since the source image collection you are working off of for your generative art strategy is really like a database of visual attributes you are trying to visualize with the artwork being derived from it.
