    Any update on the pending release of SA4?
  • The truchet generators create non-repetitive seamless tiling effects, so you can generate things that look like endlessly varying weaving patterns. The MSG preset uses 3 different truchet generators running at different spatial scales and each individual segment that makes up the pattern is colored differently. If the coloring is the same for the segments in the pattern then the pattern looks more like a continuous weave.
  • Hard to believe that's procedural! It's a few tweaks away from looking like one of Escher's interlocking woodcuts.
  • are the truchet generators in Evolver 1.01? I was not able to locate them.
  • The truchet generators are a Studio Artist v4 features, so they are not in Evolver.
