I first rendered this as a vector eps paint file. The background was first generated using the vectorizer. I then used the new v4 ip op bezier path generation feature to generate 2 sets of bezier paths. The vector paths were then painted in with vector paint presets using the paint synthesizer. All of those steps were recorded a PASeq. That PASeq was then rendered out as an eps vector file. That eps file was read into Preview and then output at a higher resolution than the original painting as a raster image file. Additional image processing was then added to the raster to get a more distressed painted look.
