    It's interesting to try use this preset with a single fixed color. The Brush Modulation settings work so that the preset still generates an interesting representation of the source image.

      Thanks, that worked. Best to always post presets zip compressed, otherwise the resource fork part of the preset document won't be passed on.

    Try zip compressing the preset file (control click the file in the finder and select the compress file option) before you upload it. I'm not getting a valid preset file when i download the above attachment.

    It is called pointgo because it fuses concepts from pointillism and the works of Van Gogh. Try experimenting with the path length and brush size. The color is best adjusted from paint color source/color mode.
