In My Dream

A while ago I uploaded some ultra colorful picture using some particle paints. And there's been a request for the preset used so here it is :)

There are 3 other variations of the preset. Colors in the presets "In My Dreams 1/2" do not mix, they just overlap. "In My Dreams 3/4" acts much like a marker where colors do multiply each other, and lets you create some ultra-fun super colorful scribbles. You can see a preview of what it'll look like with

The preset uses a color palette I generated some time ago while thinking about happy colors. Somehow it ends up becoming full of oranges, yellows, reds... whatever the case is it's cheerful colors.

Enjoy! :)

  • Thanks, and I don't have a Mac therefore I can't click on the preset so that it'll go where it's supposed to.   Which folder should I put this in?

    • Lisa, if you download a new paint preset category folder, the easiest thing to do is to drop it into 'Preset/Favorite'. That will make a new favorites category.

Here's a tip on making custom favorites categories.

If you want to put a preset folder into the factory presets, then you need to first know what kind of rpeset it is, then drop that category fodler into an existing collection folder, or make a new colleciton folder for that preset type, and then drop the new category folder into the colleciton folder.

These are paint presets, so you could drop the folder into any existing or new paint preset collection folder.

Presets are organized by collection and category for each of the preset types. Here's a tip on how presets are organized.

As you can see, just dropping a folder of presets into favorites is the easiest way to incorporate them, since you don't have to worry about that kind of preset they are and find the appropriate collection folder for that kind of preset.

    • Thanks, John, I'll keep putting them in favorites, then.  And thank you very much for the link to the preset videos.
