Here's a download of the original Live Extend Example category we included early on for version 4 (missing in 4.04 and later). They were primarily built for manual painting.
If you are into working quickly you can manually paint an abstract painting like above in a few seconds using Live Extend. Live Extend paint presets respond in real time to the dynamics to how you move the pen around on the canvas. Here's a video capture of what i mean by this.
Live Extend paint presets are built using the Live Extension option for Path Shape, which was a new feature in version 4.
Live Extension Path Shape is also designed to be used with AutoDraw Interactive Pen Mode. So you aren't going to see it's special features is you use a pen mode like interactive pen.
