MSG Pantograph

Here's a simple MSG preset that generates a pantograph effect.

The green source color channel (GSrc) is being used to modulate the pantograph effect. By processing that in some way with MSG processors, you could come up with all kinds of variations of the effect.

This is a MSG preset. It's using a blurred green source channel to modulate a RotateScale warp processor.

  • The pantograph effect is actually ver similar to the Rutt Etra style video synthesizer effect. We have discussed creating Rutt-Etra style effects in Studio Artist before.

This post on Rutt Etra Style Effects Using the Paint Synthesizer might give you some pantograph effect ideas as well.

  • Here's a link to to Pantograph effects discussed on the Studio Artist Effects Blog.

The Simple Pantograph Post might give you some ideas for creating these kinds of effects using the paint synthesizer.
