Self Similarity Paints

Here's a folder of some Studio Artist 4 paint presets that show off paint that is generating self-similarity mixing.  This kind of paint mixing could be used to build fractal textures, abstract imagery, or can be used as a way to build wet paint effects.

Here's an example of an abstract image with fractal texturing generated using one of these presets.

Here's an example of using this particular feature to generate a wet paint style with an impressionistic look.

I used the same source image for both of the examples above.

These presets fell out of some work with a new paint synthesizer macro edit command we're working on that can be used to generate self-similarity paint mixing with a single macro edit command. This macro edit command is turning on some features in the image processing brush load part of the paint synthesizer, so if you goto the brush load control panel you can see what is generating the self-similarity paint mixing effects.
