2. I'm pretty sure I've tried "N" and "CMD-N" for "No," but I will double-check both, soon. Right now I'm in the middle of rendering my first rotoscoped movie, so I will try soon. I suppose I could fire up my 5.0, but it's so yesterday's news. I will update here.

Return key is the equivalent of pressing yes.
I think the standard mac dialog key combo for 'no' also works. It's supposed to just be a standard mac dialog with standard mac behavior.
If not, we can make sure that behavior is consistent.
"Yes" - Return works as expected.
"Cancel" - Esc works as expected.
"No" - Can't find a key board shortcut that works.
