Source was Flip camera video taken while driving that covers 3 blocks including turns in Waikiki. That source video was then processed with the Scan Tracker temporal ip op to generate a single static image that encodes what it's like to drive those 3 blocks in a single image. I used the new nonlinear interpolation option i added today in the Scan Tracker which really lets you pull in amazing detail when generated a static image off of multiple video frames. So that technology will probably end up in some other places in Studio Artist over time. A second layer was then built using the paint synthesizer with the first layer's image as the source and a graffiti movie source brush. Those 2 layers were then composted and then color simplify ip op was run a few times with a % mix to flatten it for more of a cartoony look.
