live video as modulated background texture in this brush. By playing with the lighting in the room or otherwise feeding the camera some unique way I'm achieving some never-before-and-never-again looks in these brushes.

It was done in a room having red walls, medium light from a ceiling fixture and two windows admitting a brief, bright sunset light in. I'd taped a small piece of smooth, lightly curved silver mylar cookie wrapper so that it was angling above and out from the iSight camera, so the highlight is from the laptops display.
