  • This is your mind. This is your mind on drugs.

  • The first one is particularly interesting to me. How did you achieve the shading?

  • Nice serie, yes, the first one is perfect !

  • So the First one posted was actually the fourth or fifth one done. The color ribbons are generated by a very simple MSG - only one processor.3c Arc CP. All I did was use the evolver to create different arcs and then select the arcs for the canvas.

This is an example of where exploring the technical guts of the program opened up an unexpected avenue of creative possibility. I had no specific intent when I started, there is of course intention in the placement of the ribbons. Interestingly that placement is somewhat restricted. It is possible to use the advanced editor to move the HV of the Arc, but doing so also changes its shape. I managed the top one by rotating and flipping the canvas.

Personally, I am happiest with the last one posted.

Paul could probably to some magical things with the arcs. I posted a movie that uses the same processor to create a landscape.

  • I should also note that I did not save all the variations on the Arc that were used, so these are truly one of a kind works- not easily if ever to be repeated.

  • OK thanks, what I liked was, as Tony wrote, the shadow that you generated !

I think you're a good technician too, added to your artistic talents :-)

it is thanks to people like you that the software evolves !
