The shape of the mountains is procedural, which means it's based on math as opposed to being something drawn in. The way i control it is by evolving sets of 16 and choosing the one i like and then continuing that process until i get something i like (directed evolution). You can adjust the frequency and scale of the shape, shift it horizontally, the # of levels, and there's a control you can modulate to transform the shapes over time.
