I've been playing around with abstract paintings generated via the paint synthesizer. One question that comes to mind is what additional features can expand the capabilities for this kind of thing. MSG attractors as path start generators are useful, but there are probably other kinds of modulations that could be useful. Bus modulation being one example, since you can generate any kind of modulation in a second layer and then use the Bus 1 modulation in Misc control panel. So i'm adding that modulator to some new places in the paint synthesizer.

I like where you are going with this. Of course without knowing what is possible in v4 it is had to offer Ideas for additional capabilities. But one thought that comes to mind is the ability to nest procedurals. Right now in 3.5 all the procedurals in MSG are executed serially. If one could do nested functions or make iterative groups the possibilities would be expanded, that is if it is mathematically possible to expand on the infinity of choices we already have.
