First gallery show output from SA V5.5 on the new M1 ARM mac. Started the GS run from the new Gallery Show tool bar. Stopped it almost immediately (you press the toolbar to stop) to dump this out since i liked what it had done. I was outputting bmp by mistake, so i opened it in apple's Big Sur Preview app on the M1 mac, tried to export as a jpeg, which it tried to put in a weird place on my hard disk rather than where i was working, and then Preview crashed. So i will never feel bad about SA crashing ever again, and perhaps there are some outstanding software issues apple needs to address on these new M1 machines.

  • I get occasional crashes in SA...But intuitively feel it has something to do with my Mac, I run Disc Warrior and restore my Mac, Usually I will back up the Session a frequently so all is not lost. I like the possibilities of the image you created...Particularly the portrait within it.
  • It's all gallery show doing the work. All i did was define the 'artistic process', which is a fancy way of saying i defined the various parameters associated with the gallery show run that was being automatically generated by SA V5.5.

I'm using the gallery show auto-mask features.  So it automatically computes selection masks associated with each new input image, and then masks the galley show technique accordingly.
