I would like to rotoscope a video in 5.0 (Mac) but I have a hard time bring the video file (.mov)into the canvas.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Tova

Ok, if you are running on a mac pre-catalina (osx 10.15), just use the 32 bit SA5 build. Open a movie file in the source area. Then run Action : Process with paint action sequence : Source to Movie menu command.
If you don't know what i am talking about, here's a tip.
If you prefer video tutorials, go here.
So you would not normally try to open a movie in to the canvas. If you want to build up hand drawn animation, we do have a special movie layer feature designed for that kind of thing.
Here are 2 tips on movie layers.
If your goal is just to process a movie with a Studio Artist effect, stay away from movie layers for that kind of thing.
If you are running on Catalina, you should probably read this post.
It explains it better then i can here.
