Hi,
I have a simple PASEQ I run:
- set canvas white
- delete bezlayer
- source edge to path
then I paint the bezlayer using a thin color line 6x6 pixels, with a min path length of 50 and max of 1600
followed by thin 2x2 black line, with a min path length of 350 and a max path length of 1600
This effectlively gives me a color outline with a thin black line running at the center of each color line
i then do a bunch of random stuff to fill and color the cavas.
At this pont the original lines have been degraded and I want to reintroduce the outline
I rerun step 2 and 3.
when I try to redo the 6x6 color line all I get is color dots randomly placed over the canvas.
if "source edge to path" creates a new path using the source, why won't lines appear on the new paths instead of dots ? The min path length is 350 and the max is 1600 since I only want to redo the longer outlines.

After some poking around I discovered that even if run step 1,2 and 3 right after I draw the initial outline I get nothing but random dots on the screen, when I run the outline a second time:
Post the PASeq for me to take a look at.
Here you go

Of course it seems to be working fine for me when i try it here. Generates adjacent source edges and skeleton as expected with those particular action steps. I ran it step by step, looking at the bezier paths it generated, and the paint strokes that came from them. You get a little noise in highly textured areas of the source image (which is to be expected), but nothing i'd call random colored dots.
Email me the source image you are using and the specific canvas size in pixels you are working with and a screen shot of the problem you are seeing and i'll run another test so i can exactly duplicate what you are doing. Also, are you using 4.05 or another build?
