Hello, I have found working with paint brush load very exciting but have come upon what seems to be a none-existing entry in paint fill to make it effective. In the manual, when discussing brush load, type MSG, you say one needs to enable the 'brush load' option in the Paint Fill Setup for one's brush load settings to take effect. However, as I go to Paint Fill, I nowhere find 'paint source' listed as an option, only 'brush image'. Is this a mistake in the manual? In short: in what menu item of the Paint Fill Setup is 'Paint source' to be entered. As what I see, that option is not enabled in Paint Fill. Thanks for suggesting how I could make this work. Yeah, the Brush Load control panel and what you can do with it in the paint synthesizer is pretty powerful.
So, how do you access it in the Paint Fill Setup control panel?
Pretty straightforward. My default open at startup paint preset uses, it, as seen here.
So it's being used for the Fill From Modulation in this particular preset. And you can see there are several different options for how you can use it there if you look in the popup of choices.
Now a much simplier apporacah is to just use it as your Fill From source.
So what i just discussed is what the manual was talking about. It needs to be setup in Paint Fill Setup to be used in Fill From or Fill From Mod (or both if you want to get weird maybe).
It's not actually a Fill To option right now, so i suppose i should add that to my to do list.
