This Studio Artist 4 paint preset is fun to use with manual or action button painting. The visual effect is very different, so it's worth trying both. Watching it work is as much fun as the final painted imagery you can create.
What i love about this kind of active paint preset is that you can generate vast amounts of visual complexity in a few seconds of drawing. Stuff that would take multiple hours and a lot of expertise to create if you tried to generate it in other paint programs.
By doing some editing in the paint synthesizer you can use this paint preset as the start point for creating a wide range of different abstract paint effects. Note that the emphasis here is on ABSTRACT. This preset is not about emulating some natural media style or painting a representational portrait.
