I have found that I am getting the most profound colors using Studio Artist...almost unimaginable. I am constantly surprised and my eyes are bathed in rainbows that transcend what I see in Nature. I have never seen another computer program ...or painter for that matter generate the combinations and subtleties of color I stumble across. The expression of light as color is fundamental to art. Joseph Albers would have been as happy as a pig in mud. I know I am.
Kudos to you John. I don't know how you have SA set up for color but it is truly unique. Anything you can do to emphasize the color program and further its development would be time well spent.

Yeah StudioArtist seems to do something really different with colors. I've noticed how some brush presets take some of the color palettes far beyond normal programs would. It's both psychedelic and quite a surprise to see colors pop out at you. I don't think there's any program that comes close to what SA does.
