I have been experimenting with the Vectors in SA to see if I could generate an image that was the same or very close to my art or even a photo. Often I created art that would not export a facsimile of my image.
By trial and error I found a method that works consistently. Although it is not always perfect it is close enough. And small adjustments can be made later in Illustrator.
I was so excited that I thought the method could be of help to everyone.
When I create and image I like, I switch to the Vectorizer in SA.
1. Default_4.03
2. General Category
Brushes:
3. Geotiler-Edge Smart1

4. Use if already flat
Save:
Action: Generate EPS with Vectorizer
The resultant vector file opens in illustrator faster and more easily than if I generate an SVG with the vectorizer.
Attached is an eps file I created from a black and white photo. With minor adjustments in illustrator the finish would be great. I now I have a file that can be printed as large as I would like.
If anyone has even greater refinements in this process let me know.
