I know many of us have Vimeo accounts, so this may not be news, but I haven't found a discussion about it. So, just in case you didn't know:

Submission fee is $20. The Experimental category will be judged by David Lynch :-P

I have decided, long ago, to stop submitting films to festivals that require a submission fee.
Either my films are invited (which is happening often now), or the submitting is free.
It surprises me to see Vimeo offering free video hosting (up to 500 MB per week) yet charge $20 for this "festival."

So far, I have never paid to submit to a festival. I don't know if the Vimeo festival will be an exception or not. I suspect that the reason for the submission fee is for them to avoid being drowned in a sea of family footage movies :P
