Source Image Tracking in a PASeq

Someone asked a question today about whether you could record different source images you used to build a single paseq. And in general the answer is no in 3.5, the paseq does not record what was in the source are or any changes you made by opening different source images. However, if you are using multiple layers and you just want to use a different source for each layer, then there is a way to do it. You just add source keyframes at frame 1 for each of your layers in the layer palette timeline. Then if you turn on paseq layer track in the paseq configuration preferences, then as the paseq steps playback, the layers will adjust to what you used when you recorded the individual paseq action steps and the source will update accordingly. In version 4 there is a way to record different source references directly in a paseq by using Source Context PASeq action steps.

Studio Artist is in Italy!

I was crawling the streets of Matera, Italy today and may have discovered where SA is hiding!  (see attached photo). Not meaning to make light of this great, sad mystery. But I just couldn't resist as I try to make sense of what's happening. Losing my connection to SA, Synthetik and John has been a great sadness... and if real, ends a monumental era in my creative life. love,~Victor
