wacom contest

I noticed Wacom has a contest where people can submit videos that show how to use the tablet for some application and the winners get free tablets. perhaps someone would be interested in submitting some Studio Artist tablet tutorials in the contest (hint,hint). Anyway, i thought i'd mention it, and you can find out more at this link.

    Thanks for the tip off on this, John. I've had some ideas bouncing around my head for a while for some tutorials. With the potential for prizes and the fact that the contest runs until the end of August, I have fewer excuses to put off making them.

      Incidentally, does anyone know of a cheaper alternative to Snapz ProX for capturing screen video? I know that you get what you pay for and all that... but $70 seems like a lot to lay out for this sort of utility.

        I have to say i really love snapz pro. There's something new that's been discussed for screen captures on tuaw.com, but i don't know if it does video.

Is anybody making a copy of all the material in the Tutorials Forum

Since the Forum is going away in June, has anyone started to make a copy of all the stuff in the Tutorials forum?I've made copies of some of the tutorial material on the main site, but haven't looked at the Tutorial Forum yet.I'm going to continue copying as much as I can for my own personal use anyway, but if anyone else is doing it, or has already started doing it, please let me know.Maybe we can co-ordinate our efforts. ps can't ..... believe John, would let this happen without so much as a…
