Can someone explain to me what the smoothing setting in the Warp Editor does?
I've played around with it some but don't really get what its smoothing.

It basically blur filters the warp map function. On and On1 do it 2 different ways, you will probably want On1 but maybe not depending on you artistic mod. Try a Self Modulate Rotate warp and it should be pretty obvious what it's doing. Now try anything that is a warp with hard edges in it, like a Pinwheel Rotate warp. Note the difference in what the warp is doing for the 3 Smoothing options.
It's basically a way to change the artistic characteristics of the warp, making it smoother.
