bezier frames in different layers

just a quick question..i create a bezier path in one layer - i then export/save it.

When I try and import it into another layer in the same project it doesnt seem to import.

Is this how it should behave?..thanks

The import should work.

A faster alternative is to use the global bezier memories to do the transfer between layers. Record your current bezier pathframe using one of the global bezier path memories, then switch your layer, then playback the recorded bezier path frames into the second layer.
