  • It's hard to comment without seeing the paint action sequence you are using. What does the paint action sequence you are using look like? You could either post the PASeq or a screen shot of the PASeq editor.

Have you tried using photo jpeg or animation codec for the output movie compression?

  • Is there a chance you are using this menu command mistakenly?  This would take your canvas image and make it the source... which is not at all what you want.

    just guessing here.

    • hi victor

this is exactly what i am doing.. thank you for posting. what shall i do instead?

      john,

i was using a folder with jpgs of the pix i would like to have in my movie brush - no animation codec

victor has posted the screen shot for what i was doing for the paseq

      thank you!

      • (There actually are 3 ways to place the source image on the canvas)

You can reference John Dalton's original post, where he shows that you need to select a menu command that is very close in location to the one you mistakenly used.  It's "Canvas> Erase To> Source Image":

2472633126?profile=original"Erase" in SA generally means replace the image on the canvas with "x".  The X can mean, white, black, the source image, etc (all those options you see listed in the canvas menu).

You can also access the same erase choices from the upper bar of the canvas window (click the little eraser icon to access this menu):

        2472633136?profile=RESIZE_320x320

Also, if you use the keystroke "Command+B" you will erase the canvas to whatever erase type was used last (the "check" mark in the menu that you see at the left here shows what the "Comm+B" keystroke will gives you).

        hope this helps

        • uuups.. mea maxima culpa! :)) thank you, victor

.. i should read the instructions more carefully

          will try and post ..

          cheers

          • Any easy mistake to make... I'd say this calls for only a 'mimi-me-a culpa"!
            • :))
