As some of you may be aware, Hawaii is under another hurricane watch right now. Hurricane Ana will be visiting us this weekend. If recent projects hold up, it looks like it will miss directly hitting any of the islands, so that is very good news.
But we anticipate that the power and internet will go out here at various points in time here over the weekend, as it usually does with any small storm, let alone a hurricane force one. So if we take longer than normal to respond to tech support requests, email, etc, please take that into consideration.

Stay safe guys!
Thanks Chris.
Fortunately, we appear to have dogged the bullet with Hurricane Ana. Just a lot of rain so far. The predicted path moved in a favorable direction passing slightly to the south of the Hawaiian islands. Although i still wait with anticipation for the power to go out here at some point.
The only thing that is kind of a cause for concern now is that the water to the northwest of the Hawaiian islands is warmer than it ever has been in recorded history, so it's anticipated that Ana will actually increase in power after it passes us and begins heading north when it is west of Hawaii. So if it turned around and headed back, that would be bad. And it's kind of scary that hurricanes now can get stronger as they move north of Hawaii due to unusually warm (in a historical sense) ocean water near here, because that never used to be the case before.
