I'm working on a PASeq and experimenting with adding some image ops to it.  Outside of restarting the application or saving 'defaults' presets for each of each image op, I can't think of a way to reset my image ops to their default state.

With the paint synthesizer I can access it through a macro and initialize the brush.  Haven't come across the same functionality in the image op.

I've created a blank MSG preset that I can use to build from.  I can do the same thing with each of the image ops but would love it if anyone has a more elegant solution.

Appreciate any and all help.

  • There isn't a 'reset' or 'init' button you can press that resets the image operation controls. We could add that in the future if people want it.

There is the Ip Op Example 1 category of image operation presets. These are default settings for the various image operation effects. They correspond to one the example images you see for each ip op effect in the user guide pdf chapter on image operations.

    • I'd like to see a reset button added for the image ops.  Layout wise maybe in the help section along with macros and the like?
    • John,

I'd also like to see a reset button added for the image ops.  Early on, when I was very low on the learning curve and trying to reproduce some of the Daily Effects, I often was had difficulties because I was starting with an image op that was not set to default.

      Thanks,

      Michael
