A tech support question that comes up from time to time is that someone brings up the Paint Action Sequence (PASeq) palette, and the timeline appears to be missing.

If you look at the screenshot above the PASeq timeline appears to be missing. Note that if you move the mouse cursor over to the right side of the palette, there's a vertical splitter control there. The mouse cursor changes to a left-right movement cursor when you hover the mouse cursor over the vertical splitter.

If you click the mouse button down and hold it when its cursor is over the vertical splitter control, you can then slide it to the left. This will make the PASeq timeline appear.

There are vertical splitter controls located though out the Studio Artist 4 workspace. You can use them to reposition the interface elements they are associated with. So you can hide the PASeq timeline if you wish, or resize it appropriately based on your particular workflow requirements.

Very occasionally it's possible for someone to bring up the PASeq palette where the PASeq list is also hidden from view. This seems to be more of an issue on windows. Again, by mousing down on the vertical splitter controls on the right side of the PASeq palette and pulling them to the left you can bring the PASeq list and timeline into view.

The MSG Advanced Editor is also constructed with vertical splitters to segment the different interface elements located in the MSG Advanced Editor. So if the parameter tab area on the right side of the MSG Advanced Editor is missing, you can use the vertical splitter control located on the right side of the palette to pull the parameter tab area into view (or to hide it if you aren't using it and want to free up the space it takes up).
