Positioning a layer

quick question. I understand that different layer sizes are not currently available in SA4--how does that affect having a canvas that has layers smaller than its overall size (i.e. two 720x480 layers on a 960x720 canvas)? If I add smaller layers to a larger canvas will everything scale up and stay static or are they able to be moved and positioned?

    Any new layers you add to the v4 layer stack are going to be the same size. So you can't currently resize and/or reposition the individual layers like you could in 3.5.

    You could use m key selection movement to move selected areas of a layer within that layer.

      Got it. I've got a workaround for it but I'm hoping that it's only temporary.

      I am coming to this roadblock also. I would like the ability to have layers that have images( geometric shapes) that are smaller than the starting canvas and be able to move them around, reposition them.

      Is this to hard to code into SA v4?

This forum closing - my attempt to keep things going

Hi Guys,So I have setup a forum here:http://www.sawberry.com/bbs/It links to the archive stuff.
