Discussion about preset organization has come up here before.
But I wanted to start a new discussion thread on what users currently think would be the best way(s) to organize or access presets in Studio Artist. Now is a really great time to continue this discussion with new perspectives since your comments and suggestions can directly affect our current coding and development efforts for the next release.

There are 2 different aspects to preset organization I'm interested in hearing comments on. One is related to how we organize factory presets in terms of collection and category organization. And how we name the factory presets.

The other is how people would like to arbitrarily search for presets. Something you can't really do today directly in the Studio Artist preset browser. But we're very interested in incorporating more advanced search options directly into the preset browser in the next Studio Artist release.

Starting with the 4.04 release we also changed the way we organized the factory presets. I know that people who were using Studio Artist prior to that switch have options on what we did better or worse with that change in factory preset organization and naming. So please feel free to speak up on what you liked or disliked when we made that change so we can improve in the future.
