Hi,
I've been working/experimenting with Vectorizer Regioninze generator, under PSC/Path Start,
I have two questions:
- Vectorizer Regionize, has a control for PSR Source. I can select one of three, Source, Style or MSG.
1. Is it possible to use the Canvas, or another layer, as the PSR Source?.
- The control, Use N% Indexes, allows 0-100, but I've been finding that it would be really handy to have finer control. specifically, between 99 and 100
Often, I find that 99% doesn't give me enough coverage, and 100% covers up way too much.. if that makes sense.
If I record the process as a paseq, and interupt the brush, when the coverage looks just right. The paseq doesn't record the "interruption"
Being able to set Use N% indexes to any value between 99 and 100, would solve this issue.
2. Is it possible to add that level of control, in a future releaase?

So the Canvas will be a PSR Source option in the next version.
The way to deal with it in V5.5 is to use the style buffer.
You first run the Canvas : Canvas to: Style menu command. This copies the current canvas into the Style buffer.
Then you configure your PSR Source option in the paint synthesizer to Style.
We use the Style buffer like this all the time in our presets here at Synthetik.
That makes a lot more sence than what I'm doing.. ie Running a step, saving the canvas, and then loading the saved canvas...
Having some editable parameters really be float adjusters rather than integer adjusters in the paint synthesizer Editor is probably a good idea, so i'll look into it.
That would be great!
Let me know, if you'd like someone to test that, if you go ahead.
