  • Session files reference the source image as a path reference. So the source is a file on disk and the session file contains a path reference to that source image. So if you move the source image the session file can't reference it.

    Layer images contained in a session file are embedded in the actual session file. As opposed to being references to other external files.

    That may change at some point if we move to a session folder implementation as opposed to a session file one like we currently have.

      that is what I thought, after a few mishaps on my drives I am working on using common names to keep paths okay.
