I was crawling the streets of Matera, Italy today and may have discovered where SA is hiding! (see attached photo). Not meaning to make light of this great, sad mystery. But I just couldn't resist as I try to make sense of what's happening. The Canvas drop down menu has a rotate command, if that helps?
Hi Scot, what I intend to achieve is something in a random way. Where some of the vectors shapes generated are tilted at different angles without overlapping.
The Hatch Color Palette preset is a rect tile Regionizer that I want to use, but the tile generated is not rotating. I have tried Path angle, et al. Is this a limitation with the Generator? I noticed that this was possible with the Mod Rectangle preset using the Advanced Watershed generator, but it was overlapping and not tiled. Which wasn't what I wanted.

If the paint preset you are using supports brush modulation, then you can use the orientation modulation options in the Brush modulation control appeal to rotate the paint nib.
