Hey gang,
Anyone have a good definition of what the path brush is? I've been doing some experiments with Paint Fill Setup on a brush that's been reinitialized to get a better visual concept of what it does and I'm a little stumped.

Regarding the Paint Fill Setup options for the Fill From control. There are indeed 2 different brush option, Brush, and PathBrush.
Here's a simple computation brush Source we are using for a paint preset
So if my Brush Type is the Source Brush, then there's really no different between using Brush of Path Brush for my FIll From option.
But suppose i change the Brush Type to Procedural Brush.
The screen shot below shows 2 painted paths, one top one using the Brush for Fill From, the bottom using the Path Brush for Fill From. I'm using Fill Option set to From, so you just see what is in the Fill From source being drawn.
So the Path Brush is what is in the brush buffer after any additional computation associated with the Brush Type processing.
