Building a paint animation strategy and then recording a paint action sequence (PASeq) to implement your paint animation strategy is the key to building successful movie process or auto-rotoscope effects in Studio Artist.

There are many factory PASeq presets you can use as starting points for building your own movie processing effects. And there are a number of different tutorials and tip posts that discuss this topic in more detail.

I wanted to again point out the Paint Animation Strategies Tutorials topic discussion located in the Tutorials Group here on the user forum. This specific tutorials group post provides a great springboard that lists a series of different additional tutorial posts that specifically discuss different approaches for how to go about building custom PASeqs for movie processing.

Also, if there are additional movie processing related topics you would like to see us present as tip posts in the future, or movie processing related topics you are confused or want more information about, feel free to offer your suggestions here.

I think many forum users tend to forget about the Groups tab here on the forum, which provides you access to preset sharing groups, tutorials groups, MSG groups, etc. There's all kinds of useful information available in the various Groups discussions, and you are always welcome to post your own questions there as well as on the general discussion forum (that this post is contained in).
